School Project – Carnegie Mellon University

September 11, 2001 (12” x 12”) – The challenge of this project was to create a map using only lines and shapes that symbolically represented the events of my day on September 11. I felt it was necessary to show my day through emotions with less emphasis on time and space. This allowed me to illustrate my own personal experience throughout the day and reflect on how others individuals reacted to this tragedy.
